The Project Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that project cost, schedule, and contract objectives are met through effective planning, tracking, and reporting.
This role involves supporting the managing of budgets, reviewing contracts, handling variations, and ensuring compliance with project policies and procedures. The individual collaborates closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain project integrity and ensure successful outcomes.
About the team:
You’ll be joining the team, who is mainly based in Stavanger. Over the past few years, this team has grown significantly as our Client continues to expand with an intention is to continue this. Reporting into Certification & Inspection Division Manager who is based in the UK, you’ll be working alongside an operations team that strive for high quality service of work.

Job description
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensuring project technical specification is communicated and standards considered during build
- Serve as a liaison between the client and internal teams for project controls-related matters.
- Communicate with procurement, design and workshop to determine delivery dates.
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
- Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
- To be a positive ambassador.
- Adopt and promote the Company's People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout.
- HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
- Identify potential project risks related to cost, schedule, and scope.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
Cost Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Tracking labour and expenditure for ongoing projects against budget.
Schedule Management:
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Maintain, develop and monitor project plans, scope, schedule, and work hours.
- Assist with planning including project travel, accommodation and any training required for personnel.
Contact Administration:
- Review project contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Handle Variations, Orders, and Requests (VORs) and track their impact on cost and schedule.
- Coordinate with contracts and procurement teams for contract modifications or clarifications.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate and present regular project performance reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Support internal and external audits related to project performance and compliance.
Job requirements
Required skills / knowledge:
- Experience working in a similar Project Coordinator role.
- Experience of working within a Subsea environment & supporting client with similar equipment would be advantageous
- Strong IT skills in MS office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to multitask in a fast pace environment
