Atlas Professionals is looking for professionals to work as Electronics Technician with one of the clients of the office in Houston, United States. It’s a temporary position in United States. Do you have the necessary experience?
Job description
- Maintaining and repairing all electrical and technical equipment on the vessel, including motors, generators, switchgear, lighting systems, and navigational equipment.
- Conducting regular safety inspections of electrical and technical equipment to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Communicating with other members of the vessel's crew, including the Captain and the Engineering Team, to coordinate technical operations.
- Ensuring that the electrical and technical systems and equipment are in compliance with all safety procedures and regulations in the maritime industry.
- Participating in safety drills and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the vessel's power generation systems, including diesel engines and electrical generators.
Job requirements
- Must be a US citizen or Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- USCG Medical
- TWIC
- US passport/DL
- BOSIET with CAEBS/FOET
- Rigpass
- At least 1 yr of experience working as an ET on offshore rigs
- Electronic certification
