We are seeking a Control Room Operator to join a dynamic team monitoring and controlling offshore wind farms in the Continental Europe region. This role involves start/stop operations, SCADA monitoring, and data management . A proactive mindset, reliability, and excellent communication skills in English and German are essential for success.
Job description
- Operate and monitor offshore wind turbines via SCADA systems.
- Coordinate short-term maintenance with offshore teams.
- Maintain availability data in Phoenix (internal database).
- Support administrative tasks for the Control Engineer.
- Work closely with teams like Operation Execution and SCADA specialists to ensure smooth operations.
Key deliverables include:
- Accurate system availability mapping in the database.
- Timely shutdown and re-energisation of wind turbines.
Job requirements
Essential:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training (EQF Level 4 or above).
- Proficiency in English and German.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web applications.
- High personal accountability, reliability, and systematic work approach under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience in equipment monitoring or SAP.
- Basic knowledge of IT and networking technology.
