Atlas Professionals is looking for professionals to work as Sales Executive with one of the clients of the office in Houston, United States. It’s a permanent position in United States. Do you have the necessary experience?

Job description

This is an exciting new role to join a growing and fast paced international training organization as we seek to expand our service offering in the US market. You will join an existing team of sales professionals to work collaboratively to drive our strategic ambitions in the US training market.

You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing client accounts with a locality in and around the Houston area. You will be required to drive engagement and relationships with these clients through proactive outbound contact, meetings and outreach campaigns to maintain and grow spending levels, as well as seeking opportunity for upsell. This role will require some new customer acquisition as well as working with other colleagues to promote products and services to meet client needs.

This is a principally client facing outbound role with high activity levels which are reflected within the KPI’s.

Account Management of the key customer accounts within the Houston area with the primary engagement to be undertaken via:

  • Maintenance of existing and generation of new revenues for training facilities.
  • Direct client interface (face to face meetings, virtual meetings and phone calls).
  • Promotional mail campaigns – targeted to business needs.
  • Upsell opportunities across training course portfolio, both existing and new products
  • Lead generation for business development function.
  • New business development activity identifying potential new revenue streams within the defined geographical area.
  • SME focus around niche product lines as defined by business unit.
  • Houston remit. 

Job requirements

Person Specification:
You will be an initiative-taking, driven individual with a commitment to getting things done. The client will be at the center of everything you do, and you will contribute to the growth and success of our business through your skills and experience. You will have:

  • Working in, or have experience in a sales role, ideally in the Oil and Gas or Renewables Energy Sector.
  • Experience in training, competence or health and safety related disciplines advantageous.
  • Confident communicator with a passion for customer service.
  • Account / customer relationship management experience.
  • Solution-based sales mentality



Requirements:

  • Must Live in Houston, TX
  • Must be a US citizen or Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Ideally have proven success in a previous sales role in the Oil and Gas or Renewables Energy Sector, working within training, competence or health and safety related disciplines
  • Willingness to learn company service lines and business practices 
  • Be a confident negotiator with strong closing skills.
  • Have strong client / account management skills.
  • Have a solution based sales mentality
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people.
  • Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks.
  • Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual, as well as being able to integrate and operate as part of a team.
