Atlas Professionals are currently recruiting for a 1st Engineer to join our clients Semi-Submersible in UK Shipyard, this is to assist with project/reactivation work.
Job description
- Assists the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient management of the Technical Department and compliance with the planned and corrective maintenance system on board the Vessel.
- In the event of the Chief Engineer becoming incapacitated, the First Engineer is to assume the role of the Chief Engineer.
- Assist the Chief Engineer in performing active leadership of the Technical Department.
Job requirements
- BOSIET/ FOET/CA-EBS - Not mandatory on appointment
- OGUK or Equivalent
- Seafarers Medical (ENG-1)
- STCW Certificate of Competence (Second Engineer III/2 - Unlimited)
- CoP in Designated Security Duties
- High Voltage1000kw (Management Level) *See Note 2
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques
- STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
- STCW Prof Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
- STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
