The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for maritime operations. This is a hands-on position requiring physical endurance, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Job description
- Perform deck operations, including mooring, towing, and anchor handling.
- Assist with cargo operations, including loading, securing, and unloading.
- Maintain and operate deck machinery and equipment, such as winches, cranes, and towing gear.
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of the vessel.
- Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to onboard safety drills.
- Provide support to the engineering team as required.
- Perform watchkeeping duties as assigned.
Job requirements
- Relevant maritime certifications (e.g., CoC, STCW Basic Safety Training, Seafarer’s Medical Certificate).
- Experience working onboard multicat or similar vessels preferred.
- Strong knowledge of deck operations and seamanship.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and responsibilities.
