For one of our clients located in the North of The Netherlands we have a nice opportunity for the position of Drilling and Completions Logistics Coordinator.
Based in our clients' location, this role will report directly to the European Drilling and Completion Manager and be an integral part of the Netherlands Business Unit.
Job description
- Assist with the sourcing and procurement of drilling and completion services, supplies and equipment, including shipping, receiving and customs clearance.
- Optimize the material and equipment utilization across all areas of clients’ operations from drilling, completion to production.
- Cooperate with planning engineers on future projects, ensuring operations can be executed efficiently and without interruption.
- Manage material control documentation including certification, assembly drawings and relevant reports.
- Manage the preventative maintenance program for clients’ owned drilling and completion equipment (i.e.: running tools, pressure control equipment, downhole tools, etc.).
- Coordinate equipment preparation for job readiness (inspections, threading, assembly make-up, testing, etc.).
- Create equipment lists for each well for all projects to assist with daily planning for wellsite supervisors and logistics supervisors.
- Manage the storage, inventory, and movements of D&C equipment for various projects across all areas of European operations.
- Focus on continuous improvement of drilling & completions performance relative to clients’ targets.
- Utilize SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to manage the procurement, movement and inventory of European D&C equipment and services.
- Liaise with the respective European finance departments in the preparation of monthly budgets and conduct annual inventory audits and with the reconciliation of goods consumed.
In this role you will be working from the clients’ office, however occasional travel to various business units (France, Germany, Croatia, Slovakia and Hungary) may be required. This position will normally work a weekday shift from 08:00 to 17:00hrs however, considering that drilling activities operate 24 hours and 7 days per week, occasional after hour and weekend duty may be required.
Job requirements
- Strong background in Supply Chain Management and Logistics with a focus on Oil and Gas Drilling
- SAP EAM proficiency
- Dangerous goods awareness training
- Familiarity with QAQC processes relating to Oil and Gas Equipment
