Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handling Operator to join their dynamic team in IJmuiden. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by efficiently handling materials, managing stock levels, and ensuring the safety of the working environment. Job description
- Pack the requested tools, parts, and consumables accurately.
- Process incoming and outgoing goods using SAP.
- Handle the physical movement of incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure the SAP system accurately reflects actual stock levels in the warehouse.
- Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues at all times.
Job requirements
- Completion of secondary education in logistics, administration, or a technical field.
- A valid forklift certificate.
- A hands-on mentality, both physically and mentally.
- Stress-resistant, with a strong sense of responsibility and a true team-player attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently and efficiently with stakeholders in English.
- Comfort with using computers, including MS Office and the SAP system for daily tasks.
- You must be living in the IJmuiden area or hold a valid driving license to commute to the location.
