Atlas Professionals is looking for professionals to work as Wind Energy Analyst to work with one of the words largest offshore wind companies. This role is based in Denmark, and will be for an initial 6 months with the possibility of a further 6 month extension.
Job description
Key tasks
- assess wind resources for utility-scale wind farms
- perform wind data analyses
- prepare wind farm layouts
- conduct energy yield analyses together with the associated uncertainty and losses
- strategic advice on technical scope and production optimization on projects covering both development and the operational portfolio
- ensure proper use of production profiles and alignment with other departments of CLIENT.
Job requirements
- Extensive experience with wind resource and energy yield assessment
- Commercial understanding and mindset ensuring that yield analysis and derived recommendations are not done isolated but considering the value of the project as a whole.
- have excellent IT skills and are a competent user of MatLab or another high-level technical computing language
- speak and write English fluently, communicating efficiently with your stakeholders and presenting your results to your colleagues professionally
- are bright with excellent analytical skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely and effective manner, enabling you to prioritize your tasks.
- Are approachable and fun to work with and wish to solve tasks, not just independently but as part of an energetic team always striving to improve
