Atlas Professionals are searching for an experienced Engineering Manager to join one of our clients, the position is permanent and the client would ideally want someone in for January 2025. This opportunity offers an Engineering Manager to lead and innovate within a growing company.
Your primary responsibilities will include managing and developing engineering staff, overseeing health and safety and technical compliance, providing strategic and hands-on technical expertise, and building a highly skilled project delivery team. Collaborating with key stakeholders your guidance and leadership will be essential for the company’s continued growth in the industry.
Job description
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead all engineering management aspects within the company, supporting and advancing the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Installations departments to ensure successful project delivery, profitability, and adherence to industry standards including technical and health and safety.Your primary responsibilities will include managing and developing engineering staff, overseeing health and safety and technical compliance, providing strategic and hands-on technical expertise, and building a highly skilled project delivery team. Collaborating with key stakeholders your guidance and leadership will be essential for the company’s continued growth in the industry.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a equivalent related field, with an understanding of solar PV technologies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with contractors, clients, and internal departments, addressing design and project challenges
- Significant experience in the design, installation, commissioning, and O&M of rooftop and or ground solar PV systems
- Experienced in promoting a culture of health and safety
- Strong management skills, with experience in recruiting, motivating, and retaining high-quality engineering staff
- Ability to work as a team player, collaborating with O&M, installations, and sales departments to support company growth and technical excellence
- Proven ability to train, evaluate, coach, and mentor engineering staff to achieve high performance
