There systems can help to reduce energy demand with 95%, by use of smartly balanced heave compensation systems. This reduces energy waste, hardware costs and size, operating spent, weight and footprint. Or rental fleet tools support floating installations of delicate components such as Offshore Wind Turbine elements, or the safe and continuous heave compensation during feeder barge operations. Why waste power, if you can balance any load?

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Operator of Delta600P:

  • Operate the Delta600P iBHC during offshore lifting operations, ensuring safe and precise handling of loads up to 660 metric tons (mT).
  • Monitor and control the system to accommodate heave compensation requirements in dynamic marine environments.
  • Execute load transfers, including fixed-to-floating, floating-to-fixed, and floating-to-floating operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Equipment Maintenance and Inspection:

  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on the Delta600P system and associated equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any operational issues, coordinating with the technical team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during offshore operations, ensuring the well-being of the crew and the integrity of the equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including DNV certification standards.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency response exercises as part of the offshore team.

Operational Reporting:

  • Document and report on the performance of the Delta600P system during offshore operations.
  • Provide feedback to the engineering and operations teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to post-operation debriefs and assessments to enhance future performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the offshore operations team, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure the successful execution of offshore projects.
  • Communicate effectively with onshore support teams to coordinate logistics and provide updates on operational status.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of offshore operations.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or certification in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • VCA, BOSIET, Offshore Medical
  • Proven experience in offshore operations, heavy lifting, or marine compensator systems.
  • Strong understanding of heave compensation systems and offshore load transfer operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in dynamic and challenging offshore environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in Dutch and English and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various offshore locations, including extended periods at sea.
  • Sealegs, ability to stay balanced and work effectively on a moving vessel or platform.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in offshore conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physically fit to handle the demands of operating heavy equipment and performing rigorous offshore operations.
  • Willingness to undergo medical assessments to ensure fitness for offshore work.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily offshore, requiring travel to various global locations.
  • Exposure to challenging weather conditions and demanding marine environments.
  • Rotational work schedule, including extended periods offshore followed by time off.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Offshore allowance
