Atlas Professionals are recruiting for a Drilling & Well Control Manager on a permanent basis (staff role) with one of our clients.  This role can be based in either Aberdeen or Bournemouth.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Sits on Development Board with Drilling Systems Team Members 
• Holds Software Manager to account for OTR development requirements 
• Holds Support Manager to account for OTR issue resolution 
• Managing regular team meetings for technical support and content development 
• Provides customer demonstrations 
• Ownership of all Rig visits with responsibilities for customer communication and 
account management of customer OTRs 
• Controlling new features and Testing changes 
• New content development control 
• Drive & Implement new learning content 
• Participate in Exhibitions as and when required 
• Working with customers to ensure the product Development Roadmap is aligned to 
customer needs. 
• Regular travel to the other company locations (offices, training centres and rig locations (on 
and offshore) and client locations

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
• Proactive, accurate and acute attention to detail 
• Previous Drilling experience 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Problem-solving attitude and analytical thinking ability 
• Passion for new product development and new technology 
Other Requirements:
• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and 
presentation
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A positive attitude to dealing with people
• Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
• Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
• Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual, as well 
as being able to integrate and operate as part of a team
