Atlas Professionals seeks an experienced Buyer with experience in procuring equipment, materials, and services from suppliers for various organizational departments and stakeholders. This role entails overseeing the entire PR/PO process, serving as the final checkpoint before commitment. As an operational buyer, you will manage and administer Purchase Orders, ensuring the selection of the most suitable goods and services based on criteria such as price, quality, delivery times, and service support.
Job description
- Oversee the complete PR/PO process.
- Manage an assigned supplier base.
- Ensure PO commitments align with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Utilize Supply Chain systems like Maximo, Oracle, Plusport, Vantage, TMS.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Team, Midstream, and Upstream divisions.
Job requirements
- MBO (technical) education.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an operational Buyer.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Technical background or interest.
- Effective communicator with strong influencing skills.
- Proficient in stakeholder management.
