Job description

Do you have experience as a process operator in the offshore industry? Then this job is for you! Onshore you monitor the installations and make sure there is just enough gas to meet the agreements. Offshore you will lead the Flying Squad when problems or regular maintenance. For these on- and offshore activities we are looking for an Operation Technician (full intervention mode).

You will be part of a team of 16 technicians divided between the eastern and western assets and you will report to the Superintendent.

Job requirements

Your responsibility

·      The position is twofold. As leader of the onshore or offshore Flying Squad, you manage a team of 3-6 technicians to independently intervene on

·      the installations. You are responsible for the operation, safety, and environment on the installation where you are present. In the Central

·      Control Room you monitor and operate the offshore platforms. You provide "dispatching" of gas sales, i.e. additional purchases, or sales of gas.

·      to meet supply agreements.

·      You work according to a fixed schedule on- and offshore and in day and night shifts.

What will you do daily.

·      Preparation of the full campaign scope, which will be carried out under your supervision during a planned intervention.

In the Flying Squad on an offshore platform:

·      You will manage the team on the installation.

·      In case of calamity, you will lead the incident with assistance the onshore calamity team.

·      Validate Permits to Work for work on the installation.

·      Liaise with the central control room. And with the onshore organization for proper reporting and support requests for.

The ideal Senior Process Operator

·      You are sociable and can be open and direct to your team members. This comes in handy when you depend on each other during offshore stays.

·      You have previous experience in the control room and/or offshore. You can lead and do not mind working day and night shifts.

Your skills

·      Completed MBO 4 education in the direction of process engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering or a VAPRO C education.

·      10 years’ experience in the industry of which at least 5 years in a responsible role.

·      Experience as a process operator in the offshore industry.

·      Good command of the English and Dutch language.

·      Flexible, independent, problem-solving ability, able to lead a team.

·      You preferably live a maximum of 1 hour travel from Den Helder.
