Atlas Professionals is looking for professionals to work as Harborside Logistics Support with one of the clients in Providence, RI. This is a contract position. Do you have the necessary experience?
Job description
- Assist the project HSE department regarding harbor site specific issues
- Management of safety equipment: PPE, climbing gear including keeping record of inventory and keeping track of the use of PPE, monitoring service life of PPE
- Site stock management – consumables for the building
- Organize and track all forklift and crane operations onshore
- Daily housekeeping on site and vehicles, general site upkeep management
- Site office delivery management
- Assist in refueling gas
- Liaise with shipyard and guard company, and local site contractors
- Call out –duty outside normal working hours
- Data input of all PPE that requires certification
- Damage stock control issue of PPE
- Supporting the construction management with ad hoc tasks
- Daily/weekly/monthly/annual building safety checks
Job requirements
- Valid TWIC Card or ability to acquire one
- Relevant work experience within port, terminal, or construction site
- Previous logistics experience
- Ability to list 50lbs unassisted
