Atlas Professionals presents an enticing opportunity in the Netherlands for one of our clients in the Harlingen Area, In this role, you are reporting directly to the Team Lead Facilities Construction, this role is a vital part of the Netherlands Business Unit Engineering Team. The Asset Integrity Engineer will ensure the collection, monitoring, and evaluation of asset integrity indicators and implement programs to uphold a high level of integrity of the production facilities from the well to the gas delivery point.

Job description
Responsibilities include initiating and driving programs to support the company’s mechanical integrity program for pipelines, pressure equipment, and tanks. As an Asset Integrity Engineer, you will review and analyse inspection data, manage third-party contracts, and drive asset integrity risk assessments. You will also provide recommendations for inspection techniques, tools, and methods, while interfacing with internal stakeholders and regulators to ensure compliance and efficient operation.

Job requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset integrity and asset management for pipelines, pressure equipment, and tanks.
- General knowledge of corrosion and damage mechanisms, cathodic protection, coatings and chemical protection, and inspection techniques (ILI, UT, MFL, DCVG, etc.).
- Familiarity with material selection and mechanical properties.
- Knowledge of Dutch pipeline legislation and technical standards, Dutch pressure equipment and tank legislation, and process safety principles.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English.
- Possession of a Dutch driving license.
