Our customer who has the philosophy to create green energy for the generations to come, wants to make this real and invites you to join their team for the role of Team Lead Senior Technician for their location in Lemmer, The Netherlands.

A small and engaged team of four (4) Senior Technicians working in four days shift pattern On/Off in the office and in the field. The primary responsibility of the role is for guiding / coaching and supporting the local team. The role will report into the Local Site Managers and Operational Project Manager in the team.

Job description

In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day offshore operations and reporting to the local Service Manager. The role will involve both technical as non-technical activities. Technician- and customer management will play an integral part of the day-to-day role, so leadership, planning and communications skills are vital. Accountable for providing technical, safety and leadership competence at a local level, the role will support windfarm availability whilst executing planned maintenance.
You will set objectives and deliver agreed results that have direct impact within the job area. It is expected to make sure technical facts, practices, etc. are presented to the internal and external stakeholders. Check for and identify problems to update or modify existing working methods within own function. Position has a secondary/vocational education. Ensuring the Zero Harm policy and upholding Compliance guidelines is a prerequisite in this position.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Drive the standards, expectations, guidelines and culture to achieve an incident and injury free project execution in alignment with a clear safety mindset and Siemens Zero Harm Program(s);
• Execute project strategy in accordance with project management standards through stakeholder engagement within the organizational processes, previous lessons learned, operational efficiencies and in alignment with Business Objectives and customer expectations;
• Management of customer relationship through effective communication plan and escalation process to ensure project requirements and expectations are met;
• Regular reporting.

Job requirements

What do you bring to the table?

  • At least 10 years of technical working experience;
  • At least 6 years of on-site wind farm experience;
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Troubleshooter;
  • At least 2 years of experience with HV works (wind turbines or elsewhere);
  • An electrical education or equivalent experience;
  • A strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • An aptitude for learning new IT systems;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Living within commuting distance of Lemmer (region Friesland);
  • In possession of a currently valid working visa.

  • Salary range € 3.796 - € 4.745;
  • CAO Metalektro;
  • 13 ATV days (paid out as a sur plus on the salary);
  • 13th month.
